Our Datacenters
Each of our datacenters offers top facilities for data equipment:
- multiple high-speed backbones
- redundant electrical supplies with generator backup
- limited access with multiple security provisions
- climate control system to maintain server cooling
- fire detection & extinguishing systems
- experienced technicians present 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
With their placement on high-speed Internet backbones, servers at any of the datacenters provide rapid response to web visitors located in North America.
Net Access Corporation - New Jersey
Our first site is the Octagon building of NAC in Parsippany, located on the intersection of major US web backbones. Growing since 1995, it is one of the largest and most fault tolerant centers in the northeast. During the August 2003 blackout of the Northeast, all our servers at NAC continued to operate normally.
The center links directly to most major networks, including Sprint, UUNET, Cable & Wireless, Cogent, AOL, Level 3 and Earthlink through OC3 (155 Megabit) and OC12 (622 Megabit) paths. A high-speed connection to London provides one of several gateways for European traffic. Consult the simplified network map to view NAC and connected paths.
One Wilshire - California
Our second datacenter is in this 30-story multi-tenant Telecom facility in downtown Los Angeles. The building supports over 120 technology firms, including AT&T, Cable & Wireless, MCI, Sprint, and Level 3. Our network connectivity to multiple providers is managed through Mzima networks, and includes paths crossing to Asia. The Mzima network map illustrates their high-speed paths.
During the several-hour blackout of Los Angeles on September 12, 2005, none of our LA-based clients experienced any loss of web services as that datacenter automatically switched to backup power.
DV2/GNAX - Georgia
We have some accounts at Global Net Access in Atlanta. The 55 Marietta Building is one of two "telcom hotels" in the city. Data connections are Gigabyte Ethernet (GigE; 1000Mbit), to providers including Savvis/Cable & Wireless, Level 3, AboveNet, Telia, Williams and XO Communications.
